At Moy Park we are committed to developing our business in a sustainable and ethical way. This approach cuts across everything we do and everyone we deal with. From our humble beginnings in Northern Ireland in 1943 we have worked closely with our customers, suppliers, government bodies and the local communities in which we operate in order to make a positive contribution.
Moy Park has been awarded the CORE Standard - The Standard for Responsible Business – by Business in the Community Northern Ireland (BITC). This is Northern Ireland’s only corporate responsibility standard and recognises those accredited as leaders in corporate responsibility practice. Previously Moy Park was recognised in Business in the Community's Corporate Responsibility Index (CR Index), achieving a '3 Star' rating in the UK's leading and most in-depth voluntary benchmark of corporate responsibility. In 2013 Moy Park was the first company in the poultry industry and the first business from Northern Ireland to be recognised in the CR Index.
Moy Park's corporate responsibility approach is implemented through our Corporate Responsibility (CR) committee.
Our corporate responsibility committee provides leadership for Moy Park’s CR approach, meeting regularly to lead and guide the business's CR activity. The CR Committee includes Directors and senior managers to be effective in challenging and monitoring CR activities across the business, ensuring Moy Park behaves as a responsible business.
