Moy Park’s Grantham team is celebrating success having been recognised for its outstanding environmental performance.
The top 15 food company has been recognised with ISO 14001 accreditation at the site, an internationally agreed standard that sets out the requirements for leading environmental management systems.
Following an extensive external audit, Moy Park received the certification having established a holistic and in-depth framework that ensures the more efficient use of resources, waste reduction and efficiencies across the business.
Speaking about the accreditation, Moy Park Grantham’s Environmental Coordinator, Gaston Senese said;
“We are delighted to receive this certification in recognition of our commitment to outstanding environment performance. Over the course of the last year, the team at Grantham has created even more efficiencies across the business, designed to boost our environment credentials even further. We are proud to exemplify best environmental management practice in the food industry and I am thankful to the team at Grantham for their hard work to achieve this prestigious hallmark.”
