Current Apprenticeship Opportunities
Level 2 Food Process Operator – working at one of factory sites in England - Ashbourne, Grantham or Anwick.
On completion of this 18 month programme, Process Operators will be able to carry out production operations using a range of equipment, and will be able to carry out basic fault finding on the equipment they work with. They will be able to handle food products safely and hygienically. They will be able to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain quality and to ensure products meet customer requirements. You will work full time and have your full apprenticeship costs paid for whilst you earn a good salary with the opportunity to progress further if this is your desire once you have completed your apprenticeship. Level 6 Degree Apprenticeship BSc Food Science - (England only)
This is a very exciting opportunity to join Moy Park in its Technical Academy to gain a job and have all of your university fees paid for whilst you are earning a competitive salary. In partnership with the National Centre for Food Manufacturing at the University of Lincoln or Nottingham Trent University you will be working towards a Degree in Food Science Technology. You will be part of a technical team that performs a vital role with varied day to day tasks. You will check, record and report issues relating to the quality of products and food safety. During your working week as a degree apprentice you will also be involved in a wide range of activities that include analysing data, and attending meetings. This is a block release and distance study degree apprenticeship. You will work full time and time will be allocated for your release to University. In addition to paying 100% of your University fees, Moy Park will provide an attractive rewards package. This is a 4 year apprenticeship. You must have GCSEs (Grade A-C) in English, Maths and preferably a Science and have at least 3 A levels. Queries re. UCAS points will need to be made through the universities. For Grantham apprentices you can choose to attend Lincoln or Nottingham Trent Universities on paid for Block Release. For Ashbourne apprentices it is Nottingham Trent Uni and for Anwick apprentices it is Lincoln University.
