Reporting to the site QA Manager, in this role you will be responsible for the implementing, auditing and continual improvement of the Quality Assurance System by providing Technical Support to the Production, Maintenance and Hygiene teams. The role will be focused around technical improvement projects that will require close involvement with the technical systems and the factory on all shifts. A level of flexibility will be required to accommodate project needs. The role seeks to contribute to an individual’s existing technical knowledge, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate commitment to learning and development.
As a key member of our team you will take part in operational and technical problem solving. The position will involve working in a manner that actively seeks to reduce any negative environmental impact in relation to the processes within your own area and across the wider business.
As such it is vital that you are a self-motivated individual with excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team player through cross-functional teams and departments.
It is desirable that applicants have:
·         Knowledge of HACCP, BRC Standards, Food Legislation, Food Hygiene
·         Experience at this level with a FMCG environment, preferably food industry
·         Advanced Diploma in Food Hygiene Management
·         Intermediate Certificate in Applied HACCP Principles.
