Hours of Work: Rotating Days/Evenings Monday - Friday (Rotating on 2 Week basis)
Reporting to the Purchasing Controller you will work as a member of the Engineering Store Department. You will assist in the operation of the engineering stores department to ensure stock levels are optimised to support factory operations. Responsibilities include issuing of spares to work order requirements, accurate cycle counting and maintaining the re-ordering system. You will communicate stock shortages in a timely manner to ensure stock levels are maintained to the agreed level and also ensure the stores area is kept in a clean and tidy manner as well as receive and receipt goods into the department and ensure delivery notes match the purchase order. Issuing relevant stock movement reports in the absence of the purchasing controller (engineering) may also be required.
The successful candidate will possess attention to detail and strong interpersonal skills with good literacy and numeracy also. A high degree of IT literacy, with experience in Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems/ERP Systems is essential, as is knowledge of inventory management techniques. A full driving license is a requirement for this role. Previous experience in a food production environment or a valid Forklift license would be desirable.
